Sorry if this has been done before

Who was a better fighter? Who is a greater MW? And who wins?

I like Hopkins for all 3
I think he could take a punch just as good and can control distance better, he has excellent measurement in the ring of his opponents balance and has the better résumé by far. He doesn't have the power but utilized his power punches better (i.e iniatite clinches, set up traps and counter punches ect.) I think he'd use that to tactically beat GGG and comfortably out box him.

    Hopkins, Hopkins and Hopkins

Very similar to the Pavlik fight in my mind as GGG never finds a comfort level to score effectively

I agree with both. But still have a special place for him due to him being my Grandad's favourite fighter, even though I really don't like him. Same with Haye and my Dad

Hopkins just knows more, and is more adaptable. GGG is stiff and a bit wooden, though solid fundamentally. You're gonna have to be more than solid fundamentally to beat Hopkins, though. I mean, Taylor wasn't any more than that but Hopkins was starting his gentle slide south by then. He gets by Taylor rather easily just a few years before.

Would GGG lose to Jermaine Taylor I think not in fact he would stop Taylor,, IF the GGG that fought Canelo, he loses to Hopkins but Prime for Prime i'm Gonna say GGG,, Just cuts the ring off and applies to much pressure,, For the record those were close fights between Jermaine Taylor and Hopkins in fact i thought Hopkins won very close fights in both,,

With the Knockdown in the Calzaghe bout it would be up for debate for sure!! Both on the Taylor fights I remember at the time thinking yes close but a clear winner in Hopkins,, Kinda felt as if it was a robbery at the time and this is coming from a Arkansas Native

Golovkin all the way. He only started looking human at around 35, when most other fighters have retired. People forget all the times Hopkins was run close by mediocre fighters

Hopkins is just too smart and frustrates GGG with dirty stuff on the inside. GGG has his moments where he finds the range with the jab but I think Hopkins dominates the 2nd half of the fight.

GGG would win. Too active, too powerful.

Hopkins has the greater legacy for now, but that could change if GGG moves up in class and wins the lineal light heavyweight title
