What is the question, is it H2H or accomplishment? And is it P4P or only at 160? P4P, I think Hopkins is better but at 160, Hagler is my greatest MW all time.
Hagler for so many reasons.... my mains being the fact that he is more exciting to watch, Knocks people out brutaly, and is a relentless offensive force.
reaally in his youth hagler fought how hopkinks did in his old age . and B-hop in his youth fought how hagler fought in his advanced age. i would take a B-hop from 98-99 and put him with the hagler that destroyed hearns. i think that would make for an exciting fight don't you but for the record i i got hopkinks head to head
\dude hagler is 5'9 hopkinks is 6'1 you though DLH looked small and if your putting B-hop in at 43 against a prime Hagler . then thats not right . so of course Hagler wins that fight
Hagler may only be 5'9", but he has wide build to go with long reach. He absolutely had no problem getting to Hearns who is also 6'1" like Hopkins.
Accomplishments: Marvin Hagler (beat the better fighters, has a superior resume) Head to Head: Marvin Hagler (close UD)
hearns had notalbe weak wiskers. and B-hop isn't as flimsy as hearns and b-hopdoesn't ahave a long reach and wide build . man look at his shoulder as far as resume goes i got hagler . all in all accomplishments at MWE B-hop goes pretty far with 20 mw defenses but the nod still goes to hagler. but when it come prime for prime or head to head i got to take b-hopkins
Hopkins at his peak had a horrible style against Hagler, I can't believe this "Hagler easy talk":-( . He could have went 15 rounds with Marvin, has a chin that was nearly as good as Hagler's. Hopkins was as good if not better a counter puncher. Besides Haglers jab was just as fast of a combination puncher. Hagler had a slight edge in power. Both has very good footwork but Hopkins was better. Hopkins had a size and reach advantage too. Hopkins would have made Hagler come to him also which would have spelled doom. Hopkins UD, quite confident Besides Roy no middleweight would have been favored over a prime Hopkins since Monzon. Head 2 head he is a nightmare for anyone. Now as far as Middleweight resmue is concerned it has to go to Hagler
Hagler without a question. I'll put this one to everyone, would a prime hopkins be able to handle the tommy hearns that showed up for hagler in '84. I personally don't think he could of.
