I thought JOE was clearly outclassed. Also, I thought HOPKINS was clearly outworked. We could argue it was slaps versus punches.

Enzo told Joe he needed a KO to win going out into the 12th.

the thread titles ludicrous.Having watched the fight again without the emotional attachment this morning it was clear to me that Cal boxed brilliantly from rounds 4 to 9.He nullified Hopkins right hand, backed him up,timed his own counters and landed decent shots. He boxed aswell as he could against a guy with an exceptional skill set who was defensivly primed, negative and looking to conserve energy for landing laser fast one punch counters.Joe's workrate and boxing ability won him the fight.name me one fighter in the world who would look better against Hopkins last night.Hoya?Trinidad?Wright?Pavlik?Dawson?jones?Personally i feel the Hopkins of last night schools everyone of them.

I tell most of myy fighters that if we are fighting away from home, no matter how much he has dominated. it means nothing

backed Hops up?? BHOP's strategy was to let JoeCal be aggressive and counter his sloppy slaps. Joe WORKED for his. Joe slapped with volume to victory. Volume for Joe and 43 yrs old for Hopkins.

Sorry for hurting ur feelings, JOE. Besides ur two Ring belts, I would give u an award for speedy slaps.

Since when does that smiley stand for "you hurt my feelings"? :huh

To be honest I just can't be arsed typing anymore. I'm more gassed than Hopkins. Maybe I should fake a low blow and log off for 5 mins..:yep

And Steward told Klitschko he needed a KO in the 12th against Sultan.

Trainers say a lot of stuff to motivate their fighters and keep them going. Especially in Calzaghe's case, because he lives on his workrate.

Outclassed is a bit of an exageration. I think it was a close fight and neither outclassed the other, but Joe outworked Hopkins.

Dude, the lead right landed more than once for Hops. BHOP evaded a lot of combo slaps and countered with hard shots. I thought Bernard wasn't active enough, but he definitely ouclassed JOE. I think JOE is blessed with speed and stamina. He also fights with a great workrate. When I seen him, JC, with Sheika, Mitchell and Brewer, I instantly became a fan.
