He wasnt there to argue. He obviously knew Hopkins was upset about being outwitted and just let him have his say
Nah.. that wasn't impressive from Bernard. But I do consider him fairly intelligent. This just didn't help that idea. And him saying "you're not on my intelligent level.. so I'm gonna let you off the hook.. " Doesn't mean that it happened like that. Bernard was stumbling over his words and using them wrongly etc. and the reporter was scared that Bernard was going to cut the interview.. because for an unknown reporter to interview a big name like Bernard is important... and he didn't want to blow it - no matter how many times he could have shown off wit-wise (unproven that he actually could have, but if he could...).
If he wasnt there to argue, then he was clearly there to "troll" Hopkins. Unprofessional to say the least
Bernard was being a dick, you can tell he was upset before the guy even asked him anything and he just took it out on him, this doesnt come as a surprise coming from a guy who cant hold a conversation without referring to himself in the third person.
rofl Bernard AZZked the reporter if he was trying to be funny by referencing the incidnet in Ali-Cooper
Because the reporter was trolling. Its like when women bring up random **** that happened months ago and which should be considered irrelevant
The reporter was being a dick and clearly trying to **** Bernard off, and it worked. I'd say Bernard got the better of the reporter because the reporter more or less blew a chance for having a good interview by being a dick in the way he was questioning Bernard.
hopkins brings up a fight he has no idea what went down in during it brilliant his knowlage of fights is alot like the people around here lol
