Hopkins-Pavlik is a much better fight than Williams-Pavlik

Calzaghe took care of Hopkins so this fight has little in it to excite me.

 

I see this fight as a no win for Pavlik (other than the experience he may gain if he wins). If he wins he beats a shot 44yo, If he loses well then, his only excuse is moving up in weight, which won't hold much water as an excuse. And his stock goes down, unless a close fight and then a rematch payday.

Unforetuneatly for Pav, the middleweight Div is very thin right now, as such the options. At his height 168 or 175 is probably his future anyway.

 

This is a great fight and the best option Pavlik was able to officially sign, the rest obviously wanted no part of it and he needs a fight next before meeting Abraham, though I don't think he'll be able to beat Hopkins but if he does then that's a great way to hype his fight with Abraham.

The fight with Williams was ridiculous and Winky is a ***** who's good for nothing but talking absolute bull**** when he can't attract flies to ****. This is the only choice he got so he went for it.

Was it you and I that had the discusion about Pavlik/Wright being a great learning opportunity? This is even better!

 

No it wasn't me but I agree that it would be a great learning opportunity and also a solid victory, expected to see Wright escape yet another free opportunity with delusional excuses coming from someone that can't attract zombies to watch his fight.
