lots of ignorant who don't know the effects of baseless accusations pertaining to the use of drugs in the world of sports, especially to the accused.

there is one thing I dont understand, when hopkins foughtt jones the second time, he started well but then resorted to dirty tactics, faking rabit punches and low blows so that jones got a point deducted and also he was holding on and using these tactics to catch a breather because he seemed gassed in the middle rounds, jones wasnt even dangerous in the fight. yet in the 2 pascal fights his stamina was superb, he was doing pushups in the middle rounds and throwing way more punches.
Im not implying he is on some kind of drugs because i believe he is clean but I dont get how he can have that much more stamina and look better a year later vs a more dangerous opponent then shot jones.

It's called Libel. Anything which is able to be considered such (or argued as such by a good legal team) is possible grounds for suing.

Loosely defined, libel is anything that may detract from one's standing, status, situation, capacity (professional, social, and otherwise), acceptance, or any and all otherwise faculties. This is generally reserved for high-powered people, but there is no formal law that precludes anyone from suing for libel.

Well Pascal is a police officer (finished his course). He knows he can fill a pursuit against B-Hop for death threats. He'd be a fool to start a pursuit against Pascal. What happened in the ring or around the fight must stay at the arena. Botton line.

Is this story verified? I can't really find anything on this. I don't know Canadian law but if this is true it just sounds unnecessary.

Hopkins should have just told Pascal at that press conference when the allegation was made that he'd be happy to take the test for $500,000. If Pascal really felt that this was an issue it should have been in the original contract. Now he has to pay for it.

I have to admit though that the T-Shirts they were selling at the Bell Centre on which was written: Are you willing to take the test? is pushing a step too far. Yeah he could fill a lawsuit BUT...B-Hop stucked his feet into his mouth when he threatened to kill Pascal. Probably better for him to put these court things aside before everything explode in his face. Like they say: when you have a house build of glass, you don't throw to the others...if you know what I mean:)
