than Floyd's or Manny's and that is a shame.
Two close losses to Jermain Taylor, a win vs. Winky Wright, Pavlik, Tarver, and Pascal. He beat Ornelas who is fighting for a title this year. You can argue he beat Pascal twice. He had a close fight with Joe Calzaghe. He took on Dawson twice and lost at 47 years old. Calzaghe is a bonafide Hall of Famer and Winky and Tarver are on the cusp. He was about to turn 40 when he knocked out Oscar. Now give that quality resume a comparison to Manny and Floyd.

He has a great resume given his age and the fighters he beat past his physical prime. However it should be noted that a few of his notable fights and best wins were vs guys who'd gone up in weight (Tito and DLH were former WW/JMWs, Winky and Pavlik both had to go up 11 lbs to face him, Calzaghe 7lbs). He also struggled everytime he went up against every athletic two-handed fighter his own size indicating a style weakness which could be detrimental to him in ATG head to head matchups

Head to head yes but he still ranks where ever he ranks. How many at 40 can beat Pascal and give Dawson a really though fight ? (The fight was a lot closer then what was reflected on the scorecards.).
Even at 47 he was able to show great defense against a prime fighter who is known for his athleticism.
