Hopkins retired again

    Seen it on talking boxing. :D For how long? Hope henevers comeback and they should put his ass on ESPN friday night fights.

    Now I just seen on the scene that is boxing is that King contacted Goldenboy about a fight with Tito again

    **** that, ESPN fightnights usually have entertaining fights for the casual fan. Hops wouldnt fit the bill.

    Meh.

    I mean really it's over - I think he showed he can compete - But why compete - As much as I have had to say today on the issue - I think it's bad form to nay say Joe's efforts - I thought it an ugly fight, but at least give the guy his due.


    Bernard was awesome, is still awesome for 43 - But you can't keep putting "for 43".

    I think it kinda sucks for Joe because the cross atlantic acrimony won't give him his proper respect - But I also would feel weird walking around for three months calling him old man and popkins and then dubbing yourself Legend slayer or something like Tarver-esque - At least Joe's undefeated I guess.


    I would watch and listen to Hopkins anytime - He's interesting, appreciates history and is generally articualte when not talking up one of his own fights.
