I don't see any problem with that statement . . . because it's true.

Bhops maybe a 43 year old out of his prime fighter and boring by now, but it's a fact that he is already a legend and has already gained world wide recognition while JC despite having been a belt holder for so long is still struglling at the moment to get there.

JC doesn't have to fight Bhops . . . all he needs to do is fight all the other young big names available . . . out of his hometown and he'll be recognized.

Being p4p elite is only part of the story. Manny Pacquiao and Rafael Marquez
are 'elite p4p fighters' right now, but not at 160, 168 nor 175.

That distinction alone does not qualify an opponent as a good win.

cool i disagree but to each his own. clinton woods seems like a real stretch but i'm sure arguments could be made for all the others. as pavlik and taylor are fighting each other and calzaghe just beat kessler, it looks as if the candidates should be dawson or hopkins. having seen some clips of dawson/adamek, the guy looks real good but it's not like he's a young Tyson or some phenom, he looks like a legit title holder/challenger. so does bernard, so why not fight bernard as obviously dawson will be there for whatever time calzaghe's got left

Actually, the both of us have stated logical reasons why we think Hopkins will win. I have yet to hear anything from you guys other than Hopkins is shot and will get outworked. Even tho he just beat a top p4p fighter who throws 1000+ regularly, yet was outworked by Bernard in that fight.

Again, there will be alot of crow to eat after Hopkins wins. Plain and simple.
