Undefeated, WBC, WBA.. pretty much cleaning up his division except Joe Calzaghe, beating mandatory opposition with wider margin than we've seen in a long time, obviously.. the only true players in the SMW division at the time was Joe and Mikkel.
Tarver on the other hand, had recently lost to Glen Johnson and won against the shot RJJ. Besides, Elvir Muriqi MD win after the Hopkins fight, I think we should question this win, it's far from as good as people make it out to be.
At least Mikkel was the owner of both WBC and WBA.. what Tarver did was to vacate everything and roll like he's a legendary fighter.
He's just as much of a one hit wonder as was Buster Douglas, you know this.

 

He just got there. He did it in the MiddleWeight Division. The Supermiddle weight division on the other hand is basically new. There is no real history there.
