It's just hype. Oscar just gave an interview saying that Canelo would take ANYONE at 154 and then rattles off guys like Lara that they obviously avoided to take Lopez instead.

 

Considering Hopkins is a shareholder in GBP and head of East Coast Operations(or something) he has absolutely no reason to give a biased opinion.

I have to agree,Martinez is a warrior and very skillfull and would beat anyone at middleweight but i think Canelo would stop him,i think it would be a tiny bit similar to Andy Lee and Chavez with Martinez out slicking him the first few rounds before being walked down and stopped,could be a fight of the year contender..

 

Alvarez gets stopped in 9, his block isn't as good as Chavez Jr he will get hurt too many times
