For this generation RJJ, Toney, Barrera, and Pac have a better legacy so far.

Floyd's legacy now is more or less the same as Cotto, Tsyu, Calzaghe, Hoya and Hopkins.

A few other names may equal or surpass him in the next year or two.

How is Floyd's legacy the same as Cotto? Are you serious? Floyd has come from 130 to dominate and win all the way up to 154...and when he knocked out Rick Hatton people claim that Hatton was not a welter weight...Floyd isn't either for that matter...

Ok, actually I disagree with Maracho's post a little bit now that I look back.

Is wayy above Calzaghe and obviously Cotto as for the others, I'd say he's about even with them. Which is very very good.

Hmm yes and calazaghe was rated best in his division for every single one of those years from 1997-2007 , never beaten , always champion and yet doesnt even get a mention, talk about lop sided judging.

Guys like Brusseles, Baldomir, Gatti, and Ndou dont count

Floyd: Hatton, Hoya, Hernandez, Castillo, Corrales, Chavez,

RJJ: Tarver, Johnson, Ruiz, Woods, Kelly, Gonzales, Hill,
    Griffin, Mcallum, Toney, Hopkins, Castro

Barrera: Morales, Tapia, Ayala, Peden,Kelly, Hamed, Jaurez, Mckenny

Toney: Nun, Barkley, Mcallum, Jirov, Ruize, Hollyfield, Peter I

Hoya: Vargas, Castillejo, Car, Quartey,Chavez, Camacho, Whitiker,
    Ruelas, Gonzales, Hernandez, Leija, Molina,

Hopkins: Wright, Tarver, Hoya, Trinidad, Johnson,

Morales: Pac, Barrera, Ayala, Chi, Kelly, McCullough, Jones,

Calzaghe: Eubank, Mitchell, Bika, Kessler, Lacy

    Cotto: Mosley, Torres, Malignaggi, Quintana,

Ok I change my mind a bit too and put Floyd under Barrera, Hoya, and RJJ. I put him even with Toney but Cotto and Calzaghe may surpass him soon.

Hmm for some reason I never associated Duran with Ali's era but your right. In that case I put Ali a bit under Ray Leonard and Hagler since Ali had several gift decisions.
