Regardless of what you think about his racial comments, Hopkins is a good interviewee and an effective promoter.

 

Joe acknowledges he doesn't think Hopkins is racist and is aware it is all trash-talk.. at about 2:25 of the video he starts talkin about Hopkins' mind games..

I did think it was a bit mad what he said , im not really bothered about it though , not at all actually . He is a great man , his story is great , and he has been a great fighter aswell . Im white from England aswell , just looking forward to a great fight

Hopkins should have saved his explanation until after the fight. Bad blood such as this can only make this fight bigger, no need for damage control yet.

 

no, I meant what BigReg said is how racist people justify their racism. It's an "everybody does it" mentality. No, not everybody does it. People who do it are ignorant and probably not true fans.
