Hopkins should fight Vitali!

I'd like to see Hopkins fight at cruiser, then depending on how he performed maybe face a smaller type heavy, that would fantastic additions to his legacy

 

I remember when he was talking about fighting Oleg Maskaev for the WBC heavyweight title before Maskaev was knocked out by Sam Peter. That would've been interesting. Early 40s Hopkins with Mackie Shilstone vs a fat Peter would've been fun, too.

 

Hopkin's couldn't hold Vitali's jockstrap in P4P comparisons let alone a HW matchup.

 

Go **** yourself. Vitali doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as true all-time greats. It's downright disrespectful to guys like Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, Hopkins, and the like.

This shows you have no understanding or knowledge of boxing. Vitaly was clearly beating Byrd, and if you cannot see that then your not fit to be in a boxing forum.

 

Besides Mayweather those guys are a bunch of nobodies compared to Vitali.

 

Ward should fight Vitali since he claims to he the best fighter in the world in any division. So....................let's see that fight.............or Vlad.............

Michael Spinks was a lightheavyweight, yet he beat Larry Holmes...................Ward wants to fight at 175 now, Hell, I'd like to see Ward fight Kovalev in neutral territory, but Ward will only fight on his home turf.....................

I think he has a chance, for example if during the ring entrance Vitali walked through a glass door by accident and entered the ring with the same cuts as in the LL fight and ref stops the fight at 0:05 in round 1 (TKO).

 

Do you think it would be fun to see Hopkins get crippled by Vitali?
