A non compete like floyd had ariza do.... big mistake by hopkins his fights vs pavlik and tarver jackson was in his corner both fights btw people don't now this the cold war been over kelly was with top rank and hopkins was with Golden boy ... Point is hopkins ego got in the way
BHop would've still had to deal with Kovalev's timing and he would still have to eat those punches on the way in.
I think Kovalev might have been much less cautious only. Good chance he would have gotten B-Hop outta there instead of outboxing him, with the some would still call him a "brawler".
Hopkins came against a younger lion, who was on his game. Hopkins would have needed to be a few years younger to change the outcome of this fight. He was simply too old unathletic and slow.
