I don't care if he does higher numbers but keep it real the Hopkins fight was going up against the replay of a PPV fight or not? Kovalev doing big numbers is good for the sport but just keep it real and don't act like the PPV replay didn't effect the numbers.

 

UFC on Fox numbers were low too, only 2 million (it didn't cross over much time wise with Showtime, main event was over before 10th round of Quillin's snoozefest). Easter weekend's not a great night for fight sports.

I never said the fight was a flop I said it was a good fight I saw it at a sports bar that was packed and I hope it does big numbers. Big numbers are good for the sport. Even still people who didn't watch it live tuned in for the replay
