I am not trying to stir up some contoversy but this is what I believe.Tito did enough good body work against Wright to win two rounds.I am a diehard Trinidad fan, but unbiased unpredjudiced I could not give him a round against Bernard Hopkins.
    official scores
    Wright w12 Trinidad 119-108,119-108,120-107
    Hopkins ko12 Trinidad 109-100,107-102,107-102
    Wright-Trinidad certainly wasn't as thorough a schooling as Calzaghe-Lacy.

Wright vs Trinidad was a shutout and a one-sided fight. Hopkins completely destroyed Trinidad and knocked him out. The KO is what makes Hopkins' win look better and the fact that Trinidad was undefeated going in to that fight.

What's the point? It was one of the most dominant and shocking performances in recent memory.

Im sorry ,but NO. Winky dominated ...even terrorized Tito with his jab for 12 full rounds winning every one of them . I havent seen the hopkins fight for a while but seem to remember at least a round or two that might have gone Titos way.

WTF are you talking about? The judges would have given tito EVERY round against Hopkins if they could.

Winky was laughing at Tito's so called "power" it was ridiculous. It was like a man fighting a boy. Does that make you happy?

please enlighten me to which round trinidad won in the wright fight, because i dont think getting rocked by a jab every round is a very effective way to win one.

Wright vs Trinidad was the cause for Tito's disbelief in himself all the way till this showdown with Jones and it was for something. Winky totally outclassed the onrushing Rican at the end of his jab and I believe, yes, I believe Calzaghe-Lacy and Wright-Trinidad are perfectly comparable concerning both fights losers.

Winky beat a rusty Trinidad. Hopkins victory was better.

I think both victories are as good as each other.

Wright absolutely dominated Tito making him look pathetic at times. He's also a natural light middle. Bhop got the knockout but he's a much bigger man.
