thanks. i think Hopkins will come to realize that the rjj rematch ain't the best idea when he really thinks it through. hopefully hops will also stop talking nonsense about being hw champ too. the legacy fight with at least decent money is dawson or maybe better money w/ Adamek At CW or there abouts. although dawson and hops are relatively boring fighters, the whole age v youth aspect plus HBO behind it could build that fight
For all the experts here lets not forget ALI -FRAIZER 3 Before that fight Fraizer was coming off the Foreman loss and Ali had just beat him ..Fraizer was considered washed up by this point and look how that fight tunred out ..These 2 could be interesting but after this recent loss you just worry about Jones ..
This is a ****ing meaningless fight, this won't prove **** for either man. Hopkins should fight someone else if he wants to but I hope Jones finally retires. Also was this the same Hopkins that wanted Jones to retire after the Jones/Calzaghe fight?
It might have if Roy had put on another performance like he did against Lacy. But being ko'ed in the FIRST... Still, I'd like to see it.
Definitely. I find that a good and interesting matchup and Hopkins actually has a decent chance in this one. And in the end, I believe fans would surely prefer that fight rather than an RJJ/Hop "rematch".
Dream on............... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!! This rematch would suck big ****...... :yep:scaredas: Jones is shot and Hops looked marginal against his "Hand-Picked" foe..... Again, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!! MR.BILL:bbbhat
Hey Green is no legend but he was not to be slept on ..I think most here gave him at least a punchers chance this is boxing u know they all fall to the great equalizer ..
No argues here. I just pointed out that Frazier coming off a loss to a powerhouse/legend like Foreman couldn't be considered as shot as Jones coming off a loss to a just decent fighter in Green.
Maybe Green, but I'm not talking about power here, but quality of opposition. Frazier's loss to Foreman only showed that he couldn't cope with Foreman's style and power. Jones' loss to Green showed that his place isn't in the ring anymore.
