Hopkins Still Wants to Fight Jones!!!

    I agree but styles make fights .But I do agree Jones' most recent loss proves he belongs in the broadcast booth ..

    he got hit in the temple, as he did against jonhson. the temple is a sensitive unprotected area. green saw the johnson fight and went for the temple also.

    But see, there's the drama there - CAN Hopkins shatter Jones' glass jaw?? Off his performance against Ornelas, I'm not so sure. I'm as big a fan of Hopkins as you'll see around here, but some of his REALLY over-estimate his potential competitiveness with guys like Dawson or Adamek, let alone Haye! Let Jones get the shot at the revenge he has always wanted against Jones.

    Excellent point! This is also a possibility. Until yesterday, some believed that Jones had a decent shot of upsetting Hopkins. Sometimes older fighters on the decline can make some excellent matches against EACH OTHER, while they get blown away by guys in their primes.

    Not necessarily. It could be quick. Or Jones could spring the upset, as unlikely as it seems right now. I didn't think Hopkins looked all that good against a guy who was several steps below him. Jones, on the other hand, lost a to a better fighter who was also larger, not smaller.
