You don't have to aplogize for a damn thing. My point is simple. Black people have been put in a bad position in this country for centuries. Whether you want to accept it or not, it still has an affect on society to this day. Now considering all that this country has put black people through, and cosidering that it still affects their lives to this very day, why do you care if black people are held to a different standard in terms of political correctness than white people? In the end, it's meaningless. Women can do and say a lot of **** that men can't. Do you think I give a ****? Hell no. I know it's more advantageous to be a man. I'm not concerned with having to be more politically correct with women than they have to be with me.

yeah it sounds like that but Hopkins is from an older school of thought. he knows how to sell fights and build up wins. remeber the Tito fight press confrence? he brought him his last meal which was a bag of beans and rice not only that he threw the PR flag on the ground. LOL he's funny. so far the only comment that came back to bite him was the i'll never let a white boy beat me.:yep

and where he's from they still tease him about that loss

I know all about this ****. It just backs up my point earlier when I said white people in this country are in a better economic and social position than their black counterparts. You are proving a point that you bashed me for making.

No you're just ranting and raving about **** that I never even argued. You clearly have some personal issues that your looking spew out, and using my comments as an excuse to do so.

Talk about contradiction, do you know that white people hold the power to treat the minorities any type of way being that they are the majority race, yet they dont because believe it or not white people are not as racist as you like to think.

Another lame excuse to co-sign racism from blacks towards white, like the whites having to be more thick skinned about racism because of slavery, despite the fact people of this era did not administer it and it did not happen to you personally.

You are basically saying its okay to be racist, which probably means your a racist **** to, i bet your one of these people that likes to make light of racism when its white on black but excuses it like you just did when its black on white., pathetic!

When did I ever say white people are racist? I'm getting on people for labeling someone a racist who is not, and railing against meaningless double standards.

Black people can't be acist towards whites. They don't have power to do so. Simply making racist statements is meaningless. Real racism is institutional racism. It's the type of racism that effects social policy and effects everyday lives. White people having racist feelings towards blacks is a whole lot more dangerous than blacks having racist feelings towards whites. We've already seen the damaging effect that white racism has had on blacks. What tangible, damaging effects have white people ever experienced due to racism in this country?

And you clearly don't know what the **** you're talking about. Racially charged comments(no matter who is saying them) means **** to me. White people on this very forum make racist comments all the time. It doesn't bother. It would be understandable fthough or a black person to be upset about it considering the history of this country. Why white people on here are so upset about this comment is beyond. It's not even a racist comment. He simply mentions the guys race.

Tbh the arguement is stupid, how many of us white people have or have once had a black slave and how many black people on the forum have been slaves? It was a bad thing but its over now and nothing to do with anyone around now. We don't all hate on Austrians because Hitler was one of them

 ******ed comment, some ******ed arguments, and views.

Someone saying 'why was kelly getting so much attention if he wasnt white'

please..... the guy had three or four very nice knockout wins in a row including one in a title fight against the middleweight champion of the world, and he WAS STILL not a big name. The rematch did about 230,000 buys, and Pavlik has never been crowned some sort of savior or pushed down peoples throats more then ANY knockout artist who was challening for a title, and then won the title by impressive and exciting stoppage.

    Give me a break

And 'white hope'? I guess thats what you call the guy that KTFO out the man that beat you twice and is the reigning champion

I like Bhop, but the comments, like a lot of what he says, is simply stupid.

Quick question, at which point does a fighter out-grow the label "great white hope"? The guy's already the lineal middleweight champion! What the ****'s he the hope for?

What is a "White" Latino? LMAO!

Then that ignorance you spout about Obama's church? How do you know? Because the White media gave you 20 second sound bites? Had you taken the time to listen to what he said you would see that what he said was true. You keep committing violent acts around the world and... "your chickens will come home to roost."

What planet do you cats live on?

No that means you don't understand the difference between prejudice and racism in his context. Prejudice is just a belief that can be based on race. Racism is a system that excludes/oppresses entire groups of people.

What Hopkins is expressing is racially prejudiced. Nothing he said excused this prejudice.

On a counter point, Hopkins is one of the few Black men economically empowered enough to actually be racist, although on a very small scale.

I knew what your silly ass meant. I wanted you to attempt to explain it though because your silly ass is talking in the context of America. So your BS numbers are so out of wack that they are irrelevant in this discussion.

The Latino population in American is predominantly of South American (Mexican) descent. So your entire point of 80% is just some random crap you pulled from your ass.
