How do you know that everybody he fought in his thirties were smaller and how do you know that in his forties he was roided up? Not saying you're lying because I assume that you can put up some numbers and sizes and weights of the people he fought or show some kind of evidence that he was busted for Peds all through his forties. Just saying.

You'd have a point about his success in his old age if he'd ever looked the least bit extraordinary in attaining it. But he largely won fights because the majority of today's light heavies are fundamentaless morons like Pascal who were easily exploited by a much less athletic but much smarter opponent.

I do think Hopkins is remarkable but I also think boxing as a whole is even more remarkably shallow at this point in time. I realize this puts me at odds with the morons who want to pretend sports in general are getting better all the time and everyone from today would wreck everyone from the past.

 

Taller doesn't necessarily mean bigger though. Fact is most of the guys you listed will have out weighted him in the ring, I could say he was small for a middleweight because of this but that wouldn't be any truer than your statement about BHop fighting smaller men. It's easy to pick facts to suit an opinion.

As for his possible PED use, well in a sport which pretty much ignores the issue, especially in the US then it's possible he was doping, but no more so than any other fighter who has never been caught. Sure what he did is remarkable, but does than mean it could only be achieved with PED's. Plenty of athletes in many sports dope and never reach the heights Hopkins did in boxing, PED's alone don't make you great, especially in a sport where skill is more important than physical ability. Hopkins physical decline over the years is very apparent it's how he changed his style and his decision to move up to fight bigger slower men that prolonged his career more than anything.

 

So you saying that the guys he fought were shorter but not actually smaller. Kinda like Klitschko huh. That's a fail. You have produced no evidence that the man was on peds all through his forties or at anytime so again you have failed. The only fact that is in evidence is the fact that you are lying on the man and that you are not my mama. You might be somebodies else's mama but it's true, you are not mine.
