Anyone else feel this way? I know Hops has never really takin a beating before and I actually predicted he would beat Cal. So, Im not underestimating his skills at all but I just feel his time is up and he is taking on a monster in KP. I think he gets a straight up beat down but it wont come on un til "mid to late" when those leggs start to slow down.

    Thoughts?

I think it's definitely a possibility. At his age, you never know how much father time will affect him from fight to fight. If he's completely aged, you never know.

But what's more likely is that Hopkins does have enough gas to make it an ugly fight and last 12 rounds and ***** about the decision.

Yeah, but what if he's completely aged and his legs simply give out on him in the late rounds and Pavlik has him cornered?

There's definately a serious possibility of him getting hurt this time. :!:

He won't just be getting :gayfight like with Calzaghe.

He'll be facing real :toney with Kelly Pavlik.

The way you'll see him negate Pavlik (or attempt to) is by smothering him as often as poosible, using his elbows/shoulder as cover, pushing into him as often as possible etc.

That could make for one of those real slow burning fights (i.e. snoozefests) that Hopkins is so highly skilled at.

I don't even count out the possibility of a DQ win if Hops gets into trouble.

I believe B-Hop is going to do better then people say he will, he's an old legend, but still a legend. Not to take anything away from KP but this I believe is going to be a good fight.I'll be rooting for B-HOP as he unleashing an ass whooping upon KP, lol

Can you guys imagine if Hopkins puts on another clinic against Pavlik like he did against Tarver? That would be insane.

Well, it wasn't his output that got him gased against Calzaghe now was it? It was his opponent's activity.

Hopkins is going to get beat badly and soundly. I hope Pavlik doesnt hurt him that bad.

If Pavlik does get him conered, I'd imagine Hopkins would tie him up whilst landing a few punches in the inside. I can't see Hopkins being in such a position that he will get seriously hurt.
