I seriously doubt that B-Hop will take a beating

Hopkins doesnt throw much per rd but his output is quality and meaningful- Due to Hopkins clever style, Joe could only land one meaningful shot on Ol Hopkins in 12 rds, the rest were pitter patter.

I had the fight close as BHop stole most of the early rds- possibly even a draw due to JC tasting the canvas.

Very intrigued about what he does against Pavlik

Hopkins will win it. I like pavlik I think he's a great boxer, but hopkins just has that way of winning.

And in the process of winning I actually think Hopkins will be working Pavlik over.

I agree, I don't think Pavlik will be able to match up with B-Hops experience

That's why i said it would be insane. Style wise, they are completely different. Pavlik just comes at you with his work rate while Tarver is more cautiuous. In retrospect, it's hard to believe but Tarver actually tried to look for the big left hand against a guy like Hopkins! Talk about the wrong plan. As if Hopkins can't see those shots coming. He doesn't get hit flush let alone get caught with haymakers. Hopkins could probably take a nap and wake up and still get out of the way of those left hands.

I never thought anyone would give Miranda a beating like the one Pavlik gave him. And then I never thought anyone would ever give Taylor a woopin, like the one Pavlik gave him. Now, I cant imagine anyone giving Hopkins a woopin. If Pavlik pulls this one off with a knockout (which he just might do), I just might move him ahead of Margarito as the scariest dude on the planet.

As much as I hated him for the flag incident leading up to the Trinidad fight, I eventually learned how to respect him for his great skill and descipline and I am pretty much a fan now.

I understand that it was all show, enventhough he should have not done it and it was desrespectful.

I was there in Bryant Park when it happened and I was ****ing tight!

This is quite a task he has embarked on and I wish him the best, I would hate to see him ge hurt in the ring.

I will be rooting for B-hop no question!

He has the craftmanship to pull it off!

Different situations though. Jones relied on his speed to get out of the way of punches, so once he lost his speed, he got tagged. Bernard relies on great boxing skills and slick movements to avoid getting hit. You lost your speed with age, but not your skill.
