come to think of it, there doesn't even have to be a weight limit for Toney. Catchweights are bad enough, and at HW they're nonsense. Hopkins stated he would move up to HW and face the Klitschkos and Haye, who are bigger than Toney is. Toney is a small HW (in fact he's a fat MW).

Oh I definitely would tune in I love Toney and Hopkins. But I just think the fight means nothing and Hopkins wouldn't take it.

what was the point of a Hopkins-Roy Jones rematch coming at least 6-7 years too late?

because Roy beat him before and people thought including I that Jones still had something left in the Lacy fight.

I actually think this would be a good fight. Toney style would match up good against B Hop, and why shouldn't they fight. Both guys have lost to Jones back in the day, so being they can't get know pay back on Jones. The next best thing is each other.

If Hopkins plans as a heavyweight are for real, the fight could happen. Hopkins would fight Toney and then Haye at heavyweight who is unavailable because he fight Ruiz. .

However, I don't think Hopkins really wants to move up to the heavyweight division. I see him moving up tio the cruiserweoght division, that is it. And at that weight, the fight won't happen.

This match up would actually make a lot of sense for both. If Hopkins is serious about moving up to hw, Toney would be an ideal prelude to a fight vs. Haye. As for Toney, this would represent an unexpected chance for a last hurrah... let's get it on!

What now? Did he really? I've distinctly heard him say he wouldn't take on a Klitschko because they're too large and that's pushing it.

I think it would be a cracking match. Hopkins should have a tester in the heavyweight division before he gets a title fight. This seems like a good one. And if Toney wins it, it looks good for him too. I think the press conference would be hilarious!

Great idea. If the Hopkins-Jones fight can't be made, or Jones retires, Toney would be an excellent replacement and would look very good on Hopkins resume!!!
