Hopkins & Toney - Kings of Chin & Defence. BUT, can they go on without being stopped?

    This is more or less exactly my feelings on the subject. I started this thread as the issue is on my mind. I wish they would both retire. Hopkins gassed badly v Calzaghe. It was a shame to see him lose to a less talented opponent purely because of age and the resulting stamina issues. Toney was beaten convincingly the last time he was in with a top-ranked heavyweight, Sam Peter. And I don't think Peter is a good fighter at all. Both are deteriorating now. I would hate to see Hopkins stopped by Pavlik, or Toney stopped by someone like Haye. They are still quality fighters who can really mix it sporadically, but I think they should retire before the inevitable beating.
