Pascal should be ashamed for cherrypicking a 46 year old Hopkins and still get his ass whooped. Bernard was robbed.

 

Well, it's strange how you can't see anyone giving it to Pascal given that you have it scored a pretty close fight. Afterall, you gave Pascal 4 rounds.
It doesn't matter if you think the second knock-down wasn't legit..it was called a knock-down, therefore many judges will give it a 10-8. The third Hopkin's knock-down was legit and was called a slip, so it kinda evens it out.
I think I had it 114-112 Hopkins...close

 

114-113/112 bernard hopkins, a draw was very generous for pascal, he knew he lost the fight.

I had Pascal by a point as Hopkins was even more negative than his usual negative self. Pascal was the aggressor for the entire 12 rounds and he landed the more significant punches in the fight. Most of the rounds I gave to Hopkins were due to Pascal's low connection percentage moreso than anything Hopkins was doing.

 

It's all over...man. I think that we should talk about what's gonna happen in the rematch instead. I predict that Pascal will beat Hopkins this time and he can send him to the canvas again. Wait and see.

 

one thing I've learned from ESB is that most mother****ers can't score fights for ****.

 

By the look on his face after the fight, just before the decision, I think you're right, he knew he lost. But this was a close fight, Pascal was simply awful but it was against the legend Hopkins. Hope next time he'll do better...

 

Well u should re-watch it again but this time use the rules applied to the judges ... wateva the ref says, goes!! ... how are u not going to count the second knock down because u didn't think it was legit ... I'm sure if pascal would've been penalized a point for hitting on a break u would've taken that point away ...

u sound like a benard fan and thas cool ... but don't let that get in ur way when judging a fight .. hopkins dug himself into a huge hole ... **** to be honest I thought if pascal would've put more pressure early he would've gotten b hop outta there ... he was clearly too strong early on ... and he clearly faded ..

For the record hopkins isn't at the top of his game ... he's just so good that he can get thru a fight with his head (literally) and his solid fundementals ... true hall of famer ...

 

I scored it a draw. To me, knock downs are legit as the ref says so. Looks like 99% of the judges think the same as me...


But i agree with your title. Hopkins schooled Pascal.

In a scoring session I had Hopkins coming back to a 1 point lead, but i can understand a draw tbh, some unclear rounds in there.
