Easy as **** fight to score tbh .... Hopkins swept all rounds from 5 to 12.
Even with counting 2 knockdowns (1 being absolute bull**** in the same as Peters 2 kds vs Wlad were bull****) that is still 6 rounds to 8.

Maybe the scorecards should be closeish but its still a blatant robbery.

Except if i missed a meeting somewhere and body shots are no longer scoring in which case the draw was fair.

Why in every close fight do you get fans coming out and saying their man was robbed. Close fight, some unclear rounds, could have gone either way. Not a robbery at all.

I know its generalising but it seems to happen alot with Hopkins fights or at least with his fans. He's been in a fair few close fights in his career and been on the wrong side of a few results. But thats boxing, he's never in my eyes been 'robbed' yet you hear his fans ***** about the Taylor, Clazaghe, and Pascal fights/scorecards.

I had it a draw and the first KD in round 1 i had it 10-9 Hopkisn clearly dominated that round

the thread stater said the second KD wasnt real, how?

Pascal hit him with a flush left hook and he went to a knee what else needed to happen

I watched it last night & had B-Hop a clear winner, but what the **** was up with Pascal???? B-Hop did'nt do too much in most rounds but pascal did even less!!!! He threw the fight away IMO. I Had B-Hop sweeping 5-12 with 2/4 possibly even & 1-3 going to pascal, i'am not sure but i'am presuming it was 10-8 both times for the KD's even though B-Hope was winning the 3rd. I'am more shocked at pascals performence as it totally lacked balls, he fought with such negativity instead of just piling into B-Hope. he's only got himself to blame for those rounds slipping away. He lost that fight, but in the re-match i would'nt be suprised if he stopped B-Hope, surely he can't be that negative & affeared next time out can he?

He was. Pascal is just THAT bad as a champion and essentially got the belt by default when Dawson decided he didn't feel like fighting.

Hopkins himself said he had won 7 or 8 rounds. With 2 ko's, 7 rounds is a draw. Where is the robbery? In people's head. Only there. It's ok to think Hopkins had won by 1 round but I don't call that a robbery when a fight is decided by 1 round.

If you watched the fight yesterday, you may remember that Hopkins landed huge body shots, some were close to illegal if not. That's probably what took away Pascal's energy. From rounds 5 to 7, I thought he had injured his right shoulder again. He was throwing nothing.

Pascal doesn't have a good stamina but it's not that bad usually. Against Dawson, he was fading but was still there. I think Pascal will want to avoid those bodyshots. That way, he will have more energy for the later rounds.

Something tells me that he was not in his best shape. We'll know if it was the case in May.
