    Why is he so touchy about cold?


    He admited to saying 'il never lose to a white boy' and is trying to put it down to hi 'rights', bull**** to be honest

    He's a 'biness' man:lol:



    I like Hopkins in the ring, but he's a tool outside it and doesn't make his point very well. Still hope he shows up and its a great fight, if B-Hop wins then i won't be sad at all

    Obviously it couldn't have been as cold as that but it does sound like it was a pretty unprofessional photo shoot. Why is it we can't do things properly here? This has nothing to do with me being a Hopkins fan but just my general feeling on the situation.

    Look at Ricky when he's been to America. They fall over backwards to make him feel comfortable & he didn't have jumped up little so & so's making stupid comments at him & rightly so. I don't think it would have been too much to ask to just make the man a little more comfortable.

    I just think it's a shame he couldn't have left England with some fonder memories. As for the white boy thing if you ask me, judging by his reaction, he definitely regrets saying it but pride won't let him admit it. As for the rest, whether you like him or not, I think you should try & take him less seriously & enjoy it for what it is.

    You have to say, boxing is so cheap & embarrassing in Britain compared to the USA, it makes me cringe.
    Just a short while ago Tarver was sent a taxi to turn up for the Woods conference much to his disgust, & now Hopkins gets treated like a second class citizen & not a legend over on these shores. Now wonder Bhop wanted to knock someone out.

    It makes me sad that the big american fighters get treated like **** over on these shores, cos the true boxing fans like me would give my right arm to meet these guys, but they walk away from these shores thinking the place is a disrespectful shithole:-(

    20 below zero? I was in Iceland over christmas and it didn't get much colder than that in the pitch dark in the countryside with windchill.
    I'm only going to London in the summer from now on.

    He is the ugliest man in boxing, quality fighter though....i think it is going to be a Calzaghe victory, but not as easy as alot of people thinks.
