Bernard Hopkins has his head too far up his own arse. He is a massive star in the USA and is obviously used to the full red carpet treatment. He probably feels disrespected, and his ego no doubt took a bit of a knock when he realised the average person in this country has no idea who he is.

Is that really the point though? We're not talking about the "average person" here are we? We're talking about people who were meant to be doing professional jobs. I bet Joe is treated well with no expense spared when he gets to the States & rightly so. We're talking two elite fighters & I don't feel it's too much to ask to make them feel comfortable.
