So who wants it? Calzaghe could go up to 47-0 and shut up his critics once and for all or Hopkins could pull the rabbit out of the hat and end the welshmans undefeated reign.

I see a Calzaghe UD/Late TKO if this happened especially if its in wales as it wont be an all american judge table like last time ( adelain bridge musta been high watching that fight ) and could be an english/welsh referee.

    Well Haters, Blast away

I agree but in this case I'm saying never.

Joe came too close to defeat last time he ain't gonna risk losing the 0

    hopkins is rehabilitated now.

ke knows the welsh lad would sting the **** out of him for 12 rounds, and so does anyone with an ounce of sense and a grounding in reality including me.

the fight was horrible and hopkins deserves to fester in his own bitterness ,no second chance.

Hopkins ran and clinched from being ahead on points, and lost the fight, PERIOD.

I agree. I doubt he will come back for a rematch against Hopkins.

It was a similar situation with Lennox after the Klitschko fight. He knew comming back only had the potential to damage his reputation as well as legacy, and Joe knows this as well too.

You can tell this loss hurt Hopkins pretty deeply, and left a big mark on his ego. He is fighting for this rematch pretty hard to try to avenge his loss.

Well personally if this fight did happen and its in wales i would love to go see it. never seen calzaghe fight live and it would be great to especially if that were to be his last fight

It wont happen, but Calzaghe would still beat him second time round, i dont see why this fight is rumoured to happen anyway. Calzaghe wooped B-Hop's ass the first time and will dot it again.

Calzaghe offically won, but it was not a conclusive victory. Calzaghe is not destined to be an old professor like Hopkins. Against Jones it looked like Joe was already starting to slide. Hopkins is probably still as effective now as he was against Joe the first time. I'd definatly favor Hopkins in a rematch. But I think Joe is hip, he knows he's done all he's going to do in boxing.

I agree Hopkins disgraced himself with his antics but in my opinion it wasn't a clear beating and certainly not a whuppin like vs Jones. If Hopkins had used his skills rather than acting like a ***** he would have won.

Hopkins is a crafty tricky f*cker and I am sure Joe wants not part of it especially as he got the decision in the first fight.

Fact is Joe doesnt need to fight Hopkins - period.

The first fight was close - so I'll give the edge to Hopkins in the second go around. I don't he'll be as hesistant as he was for the last fight. I think he'll take the fight to Calzaghe this time.
