Hopkins v Calzaghe : The Lowlights

lol who actually started that Calzaghe best of last 25 years thread??

 

Hopkins is a Light Heavyweight version of John Ruiz. All he does is hold, clinch, grab etc. It is a disgrace.

 

I'd say atleast 5 classes less. Calzaghe is **** he is fighting roy jones for crying out loud. He flat out slaps his way to victory over a 43 year old. his legacy is tainted badly.

 

one ringside judge, several of the associated press and calzaghes own dad say it was close:yep you're lying through your teeth if you say calzaghe won comfortably even calzaghe himself doesnt think he won comfortably his face at the final bell before the decision was read says it all

doesnt take away from the fact that it was a pickem fight it depends on what you score for. I can tell you that on the fingers of one hand i could count the amount of decent shots calzaghe landed because there was barely any hopkins landed the better shots all night
