Will the Hopkins Calzaghe Weigh-In get out of hand?

Will Hopkins give Joe a slap like he did Winky?

How would Hopkins react if Joe pushed his head into him like he did to Kessler?

I can see Hopkins trying to gain a mental advantage during the weigh-in, and I think he will have to put his hands on Calzaghe to achieve that.

Is it that easy to get under Joes skin though?

  6. Yeah but doesn't he get a % of PPV figures and that shove probably upped the figures around the number he got fined.

Besides, as you saw from the Kessler weigh in that's when Joe goes from timid to raring to go; you'll be able to tell there and then whether Joe believes he can win via his body language. If he gets riled up, smiles and such he know's he'll take the fight. If not then you know he has too much respect / fear for Hopkins...

20 odd days to go!!!!!! :happy:happy:happy

I just can't see Calzaghe backing away if Hopkins crosses the line. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it kicked off and Enzo Calzaghe would probably end up in the middle of it.

If an incident did occur I don't think it would have any effect on the outcome of the fight as they are both mentally very strong.

No, I think this is a PPV and the De La Hoya fight is regular HBO.

Bernard will not be doing silly stuff this time. He doesn't need to as it's not a ppv job and whatever is said, he and Clazaghe both espect each tremendously and know that they ain't gonna affect each other. Besides the one thing that annoys BHop more than anything is the thought of losing cash - listen to his post-fight interview in the ring after the Winky match-up!

Hopkins often tries to gain a mental advantage at the weigh-in, so I'd not be surprised.
