Hopkins could beat Lacy with both hands tied behind his back - that guy was the biggest fraud in American boxing for many a year.

Kessler, I don't know - with a bit more upstairs he would have had Calzaghe, he was winning 58-57 on my card midway, before losing the next five and winning the last. He went to sleep and abandoned the jab, whilst Calzaghe dug deep and got the result.

It would certainly be an interesting battle.

It's been a while since I watched that fight, but I will watch it again (Or at least try to. :yep ) and get back to you. But I did not think the scores should've been as wide as 116-112 or 117-111.

Hopkins now: UD over Lacy, UD loss to Kessler.

Prime Hopkins: TKO over Lacy, UD win over Kessler.

Nuff said. I could still see the old man making a fight with Kessler a very, very ugly affair.

Present day BHop against the Lacy that fought Calzaghe:
    BHop UD Lacy 117-111

It's a very boring fight as BHop basically runs away from Lacy's power and ties him up on the inside, but lands enough counters to win a decision.

Present day BHop against the Kessler that fought Calzaghe:
    Kessler UD Hopkins 117-111

Hopkins attempts to spoil and it is another boring fight but Kessler manages to keep his distance and land enough jabs and 1-2s to take a clear decision.

I cannot envision Kessler beating any version of Hopkins.

I agree on this. Actually B-Hop prime or now doesnt like the style of Kessler.

Lacy would loose a wide ud and vs a prime hopkins a wider UD.

Kessler would beat this version of B.hop by late tko and he would win a wide ud against a prime B - Hop. (Imagine a 12 pounds heavier ODLH against the Bernard that beat him).

I've got no opinion either way but I don't see many on here agreeing with that opinion.
