    Hopkins.

Kessler is excellent technically and a very good puncher, but is more or less straigth up & down, and quite predictable.

At this point Kessler takes Hopkins, but Bernard in his prime maybe even stops Mikkel

I'm picking Hopkins to win, yes.

However, I never said he would beat Kessler easy. Clearly, but not necessarily easy.

Second, Kessler is not quite so active as Pavlik and for the most part less aggressive. Pavlik could outwork Hopkins, Kessler generally doesn't fight in a consistently forward and aggressive style. But yes, I pick Hopkins to beat Pavlik.

Hopkins, he almost beat Calzaghe and floored him during the fight, he was clearly a tougher challenge than Kessler was. The fight itself would be pretty boring, but you Hopkins will land the cleaner blows and will frustrate Kessler often.

    Tough one to call really.

It really depends on how Hopkins wants to fight Kessler - if he wants to neutralize Kesslers offense, much like JC managed to do against him, then Hopkins could win despite lower workrate. If he wants to fight the fight, he will lose alot of rounds, because Kessler is not really susceptable to counters.

It also depends on how Kessler carries himself in the fight and the weight class. If Hopkins gets to him mentally, it could end bad for the dane.

My prediction is however Kessler, because he is really a better boxer in every way at this point.

Kessler would beat Hopkins more clearly than Calzaghe did. Kessler will not let himself get into so much scuffle as Calzaghe always does and therefore Hopkins will not be able to switch between making it ugly and holding. Kessler will be very active and just pound Hopkins from the distance. I voted UD, but ould not be surprised if Kessler KOed Hopkin late when an exhausted Hopkins could not get any breaks from holdings like he could against Joe. Hopkins would tire and then a KO is much easier. Perhap it wont even b a 'real' KO punch, but it is likely Bernard will be so tired h will not even want to or be abl to get back on his legs.

Im not sold on Kessler, I dont think that he is very good, but I could be wrong. I honesty think that the Hopkins that fought vs Calzaghe would beat the kessler that fougth vs Calzaghe.

Well if he beats him then it would be more clearly then Calzaghe did, cuz many dont feel that Joe won the fight. Im not really one of them but alot of people felt that way. I thougt it was razor thin and Joe won.

I actually believe Kessler matches up better against Hopkins than Calzaghe did.
