I know it is Friday night / Saturday morning and understand if you are quite pissed But whatever you been drinking Gaz better stop now as it is making your mind go crazy Who has ever stopped Hopkins before - Calzaghe said he was gonna and he didnt come close
:rofl :rofl :rofl :nut :nut :nut They been saying that for every fight Hopkins as had for the last few years I seen enough of Hopkins in the Calzaghe fight to tell me he can school and hurt Kelly Pavlik
Listen Hopkins is a ignorant idiot who thinks he has the wisdom of Sun Tzu So if Hopkins gets beaten up and knocked out it would be quite satisfying to see not to mention the anticaption and demand for Calzaghe to face Pavlik after a performance like that However I am making my prediction of my mind not my heart Hopkins TKO for me
Calzaghe didn't have the power to even rattle Hopkins. With his fragile hands he stopped punching hard some years ago. Hopkins hasn't faced anybody like Pavlik since I don't know when. Pavlik is strong enough to fight his own fight, and will not get dragged down by old man spoiling tactics. When Hopkins wants a breather, Pavlik won't let him. I'm not saying Hopkins can't win this, but he can't keep fighting at this level for ever.
I'm posting from work Flint, I'm as sober as they come. I think Pavlik will be able put Hopkins under enough pressure that he'll run out of steam and be a sitting duck for Pavliks heavy punches. Calzaghe knew he could win even if he didn't pressure Hopkins 3 minutes of every round so didn't need to force the pace (Hopkins was still ****ed at the end) or hit him with heavy punches, Pavlik on the otherhand needs to pressure Hopkins in order to win and has naturally pretty heavy hands.
Pavlik isnt as fast and smart a fighter as Calzaghe. I would like to see Hopkins win and im sure he'll have his moments in the fight. But Pavlik will prolly win this based on youth overcoming Bernards diminished stamina. Pavlik MD - unless the judges favor quality rather than volume
Hopkins TKO. I rewatched a bit of Pavli V JT 2 last night. BHOP will have plenty of opportunities to nail him.
Hopkins lands his right enough to win rounds clearly. I see him edging a close decision with Pavlik coming on strong late.
