    Probably another of those Hopkins fights that should be a draw so they give it to the young guy. Pavlik pts.

    Pavlik 115-113... He'll try and box Hopkins at range. Get nailed and drawn into a bit if a brawl but he'll be too fresh and will take a slightly clearer verdict then Calzaghe. A stoppage either way is highly unlikely, Hopkins is too smart to get nailed by Pavliks predictable punch selection and Hopkins doesn't have the speed or ferocity to wobble then stop the resilient Pavlik nor the one punch power to take him out..

    Hopkins will have a well disciplined stragey to beat Kelly Pavlik

    He nearly pulled it off against Joe a established World Champion but just faded towards the end

    In contrast to the modern day champions Hopkins and Calzaghe were - Pavlik is just a young pup with alot to prove compared to them

    As Flint said, Hopkins is a 'crafty ****er' and will make it really awkward for Pavlik. Also, I Pavlik won't punch as hard at the higher. There was an interview posted a few months back on the general forum where Pavlik's trainer said the only worry he has with Pavlik stepping up is that he doesn't have enough snap in his punches, as shown in the second Taylor fight.
