Being knocked down by Glencoff and Adamak doenst mean he is chinny imo.

Pavlik by KO, time to retire dirty butter Hopkins

I think Dawson can take Tarver, isnt he like 40 now :think

Pavlik takes it in a messy one, HBO dont want Nard winning. I still think he is still to cagey and hardchinned to get blown out, even by Pavlik. Really I think this is going to be a nightmare for Kelly, and may go down similiar to Taylor II, with Pavlik's intensity and workrate being the difference. Of course Nard will say he was robbed but its quite apparent whilst though he still has the savvy to make a guy look bad, he doesnt have the legs or output to win a fight at the elite level now.

I wasnt that fooled by Tarver's last fight, he looked better but was given the fight by a totally confused and fading Woods.
Dawson showed he was vulnerable against Johnson but he still passed the test against an ageless pressure fighter, and one of the best at it still. Johnson gives no quarter and still possesses the fitness and chin to make his style work.
Chad has a lot to work on but if Johnson (Reggie) and Harding gave Tarver all types of hell half a decade ago, i think Chad has what it takes just to shut Tarver out of his game plan, which is to counterpunch and generally doing a lot of it off the ropes.
I think Chad is going to be to quick and slippery in the centre of the ring for the Milkdud.

Whoa hold up. Down against Johnson? I must've missed that. Off balance and pushed over by a jab against Harding, got caught flush by Adamek and got straight back into it. He has a chin atleast as good as Cottos and you don't hear many people talking about his chin.

I wont doubt his chin if it holds up to Tarver mate.
Hopefully its just more a balance thing & leaving a slight opening in the Adamek case, as i really enjoy watching the guy fight.

Tend to agree abit more with this.

Chads chin ain't as bad as some make out.

    Are these 2 fights definite?

I'm interested to see how Pavlik goes vs Hopkins.

I don't see him KOing B-Hop, I think it will be an ugly and frustrating fight to watch, with Pavlik winning on points

That's amazing if B-Hop fights Pavlik. A 44 year old who's taking on one of the p4p best, over 15 years younger and who is also a devastating puncher. That's balls for ya! Whatever you may think about the style which he fights, you got to him B-Hop kudos for having the attitude to take on the best fighters out there.

The way for Hopkins to beat Pavlik is do what he did to Tarver. Against Calzaghe, he prob would've won if he had greater workrate in rounds 10-12. Still it was a very close fight and if he won we prob would've seen a rematch.

BHOP wants the money and is at the very end of his career.

He wouldn't take this fight 8yrs ago.

Money might be a motive, you would think his pride is more important. B-Hop isn't the type of guy who will just fight to get spanked. Even if it's messy, it should still be quite an interesting fight. Pavlik is prob the only guy out there Hopkins should fight.
