How so? i know styles make fights but Pavlik beat the man that beat the man twice. So i'm just wondering how you figure it would be that easy? I mean i will never count out BHOP but Pavlik is just too sound and his fundamentals are good, not to mention he is strong as an Ox
Pavlik is tailor made for Hopkins ... he's coming forward and throwing punches. Considering that he has only went 12 once ... I see Hopkins taking him to deep waters and drowning him. In the championship rounds, Hopkins lands alot of flush right hands and possibly KO's him. With that philly shell defense that Hopkins uses and the rolling of the shoulder, I don't see Pavlik getting anything effective off. Hopkins can also do "verteran" tactics ... low blows, head butts, elbows, little things to frustrate the inexperienced Pavlik.
interesting how Shoalin? I don't think it would make any sense for Pavlik to take that fight. I'm pretty sure that Top Rank is going to make their decision on Pavlik's opponents wisely. He's definitely on upset alert!!
A good barometer is common opponents. And that is JT. And JT's activity and sheer willingness to stay busy kept Hopkins at bay for most of the rounds in both fights. I see Pavlik's activity doing the same for Hopkins. Pavlik isn't as naturally talented as JT so he doesn't have the same hand speed and can't put together combinations as explosively as JT so that might allow Hopkins more opportunities to counter better. But still, i see Pavlik winning a comfortable UD as Hopkins is very inactive at MW. Too much to drain down at this point in time. At LHW, i would favor Hopkins.
man i hate ***s like you. Do you know how stupid you sound. Joe calzaghe is crappy isnt he?! ur a joke
