Same thing he did to Pavlik. Punchers should stay the hell away from Hopkins if they know what is good for them.
At what weight? That is very important. Abraham's a big puncher, but so is Pavlik- at 160. But fighting at 170 is a whole other thing. If Abraham is without power at 170, Hopkins destroys him. If he carries it up, there's always a chance of a one-punch KO. But very, very doubtful.
Abraham isn't that stupid to go 2 weight classes up and fight Hopkins of all people. And it would be a very ugly and slightly fight,B-Hop takes it tough:good
Defend himself. Pop out some jabs and combos. Put up a fight. But that still wouldn't be enough, Hopkins wins this one easily, losing only 2 or 3 rounds.
The version of Hopkins we saw Saturday night stops AA in about 8 to 9 rounds, and I don't give a rats ass how good his chin supposedly is. Bernard stops him; period.
I think Abraham has enough wrinkles to his arsenal to win at least 3 rounds but that's just about it really.
No way - AA has the FAR better trainer and ring intelligence...he would lose to B-Hop but won't get schooled like Kelly did. Styles (and weight) make fights...
what an original prediction after his fight 2 nights ago. same as win AA killed PAntera in his last fight, he was KOing everyone in his next fight..... im no fan of AA, especially for fighting a who gives a **** raul marquez, but hopkins aint shutting him out, it would be a pickem fight.... atsch
AA looked more "solid" physically to me when he fought Miranda then KP did fighting Hopkins (or even Taylor). AA also has a better inside game then KP which would benifit him fighting and countering a guy like Hopkins. I say AA has a better chance of making his fight with Hopkins "look" more competitive.
When was Abraham ever hit by a guy who weighs 180 pounds on fight night? You think Pavlik looked confused, Arthur would completely melt down when he started getting blistered by Hopkins.
Hopkins would give him a boxing lesson!! couldnt see AA offering anything much different to what Pavlik did!
