There is much talk about a Pavlik-Abraham fight coming up in 2009. But what do you guys think of a BHOP-Abraham fight? Would you just find it too boring? Who do you think would win and what would be the best weight? 168?

It would be a good fight; but after seeing what happened to Pavlik, Abraham probably won't be willing to move-up in weight to fight Hopkins

Abraham is definetly willing to move up to 168, he has been struggling to make middleweight in recent fights. Whether he is willing to face Bernard or not, I don't know. I think he would stand a decent chance, boring fight, IMO, though.

Abraham is a shockingly bad fighter.......His foot work is the worst in the game. He crosses alot, anyone notice that? B hop by way of tko.

AA doesn't throw enough punches and his footwork is awful. Too slow.

AA only chance is a lucky punch.

maybe a TKO for BHOP, a lot of countering opportunities for the rangier Hopkins

Hopkins UD, though an old man losing weight is never good, he should stay at 175 atleast.

BHop UD... the footwork comments are bang on, but no way Hop TKO's him; he's too tough and Hop is too tentative.

It won't happen, though; AA would have a better chance vs. Pavlik and there's more demand for that fight. Not even sure Hop would want it.

Good point. Losing weight hasn't been good of late for old men. He'd never contract for under 170.

hopkins will show off an amazing performance every once in a while (tarver) (pavlik) to stay relevent, so ppl will say he's still got it, but then he goes back to stinking out the arena IF he was to fight like we all know he can it would be interesting if not than not so much
