Hopkins in an easy decision, at his best he would probably force a stoppage as well.

Hopkins via late stoppage after a sustained beating.Barkley's out of his depth in this one.

This is the ideal opponent for Hopkins and he'll sharpshoot the guy all night and bust him up. But Barkley was the guy that really showed the shortcomings in undefeated Micheal Nunn when he was on his big run. Hopkins just has too good of set of whiskers for Iran to pull of that lose the battle, win the war type fights he tended to have at 160.

Agreed guys, Hopkins would be right at home vs Barkely. Possibly a late stoppage after busting him up.

Hopkins by far. Barkley too easy to hit and didnt have the greatest chin. Hopkins a great defensive fighter who could neutralize Barkley's power. Also Hopkins has a granite chin and wouldnt be bothered by Barkley. Hopkins all the way.

yeah, this matchup kinda reminds me of a group of lions hunting a lone elephant.

too fast, too many angles that he would have to defend against, too hard to attack, utter frustration.

when barkley fought toney at least toney stayed in one spot and barkley was never really in the fight. hopkins will use the entire ring which would keep the brave barkley constantly plotting in a straight line.

Short of a big shot or Hopkins changing his name to Thomas Hearns. I think Hopkins wins easily.

A sharp and in his prime Hopkins by a unanimous decision or late rounds tko victory over Barkley due to cuts, being that Barkley was cut prone throughout most of his career and mind you all it would take is an accidental head-butt(?) from Hopkins to make that happen. But B-Hop overall would'nt need that to beat Barkley who's 3rd round knockout over Tommy Hearns in their first fight 6/6/88 still gives me chills.
