Hopkins schools Bute, even at this deteriorated state in his career.

Very objective post about Bute from your part......as usual.....:patsch

If Roy can manage to make Hopkins look an old man and steal some round, Bernard is in for a very very tough fight if he enter the ring with Lucian, surely not a walk in the park for Hopkins. But Hopkins is never an easy prey, even for someone like Joe C. but tempus fugit and Hopkin is getting older and older.

Lucian close UD or late TKO for me.

I'm gonna go for Hopkins UD, agaisnt better judgement, but Bute reminds me too much of Tarver lol.
And i'm not 100% sure Bute can last a hard tough fight over 12 rounds, I can really see Hopkins testing his heart, and this time the referee wont be able to save him.

Hopkins would beat Bute. The fight isn't going to happen but, if it did. Hopkins would decision him.

Hopkins by UD, hopefully he goes for Bute or Dawson and leave the plan to fight Haye.

    - Hopkins prevails because Bute has not got a high workrate - by first impressions.

    - But one thing that is very impressive about Bute is his body punching - they look weak - but my god they must be extremely accurate, ie Miranda and Andrade being victims.

i still don't think Bute has proved himself yet, he only notable win is that Andrade II KO, i don't even count that win over the weekend againt a gatekeeper,

I think Bute will send B-Hop into dreamland for the first and last time. It will probably be an uppercut to the body. He's 45... if something is deteriorating , it's his body. Many ppl think that this is a bad match up for B-hop. He wants it to happen at 170 lb ... fine. I say this is great for Bute! He will finally fight a very skilled fighter. Bute needs to learn how to fight from close and Bernard can bring him there. KO Bute, 10th or UD Bute 8-4, maybe a -1 for Berny head butting or holding etc...

seems like a waste of time for Bute to me. But seeing as he as nothing better to do, thanks to the supersix. But reading the very knowlegable and enlighted anwers of of esb poster on this thread, i say go for it, take the money and deal with the blame of beating up an old shell later.

I agree... but then again, the old man needs a reason to retire... Bute will take care of that.

Do not forget, B-Hop is nr.6 PFP in the world!!!

Are you in for the number one spot in the Bute haters club? You're close, champ! It's so unfortunate you have to write such dumb things to win the contest.

Tough to pick agains B-Hop because he's such a master craftsman, but after his disgraceful display agains Roy, I'll pick Bute. Most likely by a decision, but possibly by a late (9+ rd.) stoppage.

Bute's really coming into his own here, I think he learned a lesson against Andrade in the 1st fight and has been impressive in his wins since.

Sure many people may discredit those wins saying the opponents were gatekeepers or pugs, but that's what champions are supposed to do. If Bute won by a lazy decision, people here would call him exposed.
