    Nice.:good

I really want Hopkins to do this but let's end all the hate. May the best man win.

That comment wasn't directed at you soley I just wanted to quote your video because I really liked it. You can hold any opinion you like as long as far as I'm concerned. I'm well known for being a JC detractor on here but I see little point in going over & over the same argument as no progress is ever made. Let's just hope B-Hops deals with Calzaghe so the debate will be over.:good

Yea dont worry guys we will find out soon!

or if calzaghe does beat hopkins then will there be loads of threads saying age is to much a factor in boxing , B HOP was far to old!

but hey maybe when were watching them we can see a glimmer of what a great fight this would of been 7 years ago before all of calzaghes injuries n before hopkins got too old!

I just hope to see a moment n the fight which will make me think wow so this is how it would of went!

The Calzaghe fanbois are awful but there are some Calzaghe fans who are proper boxing fans & they are the ones I try to converse with. That video encapsulates so much of what I like about Hopkins & the music goes well with it. Really like the guy & boxing wont be the same once he retires.

You will hear no such excuses from me should the worst happen. As for the rest, one thing life has taught me so far is that everything happens for a reason and I truely believe this. No point regretting the past because you cant change it. Hopkins/Calzaghe will happen April 19th & I think it's an event to be celebrated. I'm sick of all the negativity, from me included, and from here on in I will not be part of it.

    Boxing.:thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup

I think that both guys are good and that Hopkins isn't the fighter he once was (the clip above was good!) which is why I'm very confident Calzaghe will win. To say Joe's all hype is just wrong. But there's nothing I can say to persuade you otherwise so we'll have to wait until they fight.

Yup that would be the perfect end. He will be missed but he's a boxing man through & through & he'll still play a big part in boxing as a promoter. I also think he'll make a fantastic trainer.

He would hardly be avenging it, it would be like beating up Ali in the 80's if he beat you in the late early 70's. It would not mean much.

But anyway, it will be sad when he retires, I cannot remember boxing with out Hopkins in it. He is a great fighter, personally I think Joe is going to walk all over him, pretty badly. I hope it is a better more even fight than I think it is going to be.

I think that too, Hopkins would be great at training young fighters, and a great roll model in terms of how he treat's his body and how dedicated a profesional he is. :good

  11. I'll be betting big on this fight, it's an easy win and easy money, we're talking 1000's here that's how confident I am about this matchup.

well i cant really see this fight been stopped prematurely or anybody being ko so i would believe a points win would be quite a good bet i even fancy the draw to be honest with ya!

so i will make this bet come fight night!

Joe Calzaghe points = £20 with ladbrookes
Joe Calzaghe to win by B hop discalification = £5 with bet365

  14. I only like to bet with bookies for cash...BUT I'll take a lifetime avatar bet?

you really that confident tyson! we hve all seen b hop beat the odds but he aint the same man as he use to be, B hop has still gotta match calzaghes work rate n i cant really see him winning through him coverin up n throwing quick counters to impress the judges! this fight will work so different than his last fight which was winkys even which bernard looked a shadow of what he use to be , even in that fight he was nearly beaten by a winky who had never even fought aboue 160!
