Hopkins vs. Cloud

Hopkins should have an easy time with someone like Cloud but he is so damn old he looked old in his last fight and he will probably look even older in his next one. Cloud just needs to keep a high pace and go to the body he hits really hard and getting punched to the body by someone like Cloud when you're 1000000years old isn't something nice

Bernard should win, because Cloud is a simple fighter just like he likes. He has always carefully picked fighters who rely on strenght and otherwise are fairly simple.

In fact he made a career out of fighting this type.

Hopkins imo is a great fighter with a great legacy,i like watching his fights,master technician and tactician.He had a great career and i hope he beats cloud and then retires.
10 years ago he have schooled all lhw and smw of today.

 

Logic says Hopkins will lose. But Hopkins defies logic.

 

An old man just fought the champion and then the world number one ranked opponent in his division. Hopkins is in no way hype.

 

Cloud looked inept vs Campillo.

If hopkins can get the Pascal form back then Hopkins by MD.

 

Anyone with half a boxing IQ could see that if Dawson pressed the fight even a little he probably could've got B-Hop out of there. You could also see that he couldn't get off or pull the trigger and he landed nothing of note on Dawson and that is the most obvious sign of a shot fighter.

Hopkins from the Pascal fights easy UD Cloud but this Hopkins might get stopped no matter how **** Cloud's boxing skills are. He's a big strong guy that can take a punch and press a fight and he can wack a bit. Not liking X's chances here but I felt the same before the Pavlik fight...... But you can only turn back time so many times.

Most thought Mosley would get killed by Margarito but he turned back the clock but now??? Mosley will never do it again and neither will Bernard.

 

If you watch the fight again and you'll see Dawson tried landing a few combos but was getting befuddled by Hopkins still excellent footwork and defence so he literally had no chance of stopping Hopkins.

 

Cloud too strong, too quick, Nard too old.
