Pascal fights more active than Cloud but he still got dominated in the rematch. Don't get me wrong Hops is a great fighter but he's lucky he fights in the dumbass era of now. I respect him for facing Cloud because yeah he sucks but the guy can hit. It would be more of a great performance due to his age a way less of a good win. Like Pascal, Cloud also struggles with his stamina but this is not the same Hops from those fights.

Chad sucks too he should've knocked him out.

 

Pascal has always fought in spurts you don't know what the **** you are talking about.

The Campillo fight is the only fight where I have ever seen Cloud drop his activity as much as he did after the first 3 rounds, which only leads me to believe he punched himself out. On top of that, it has been revealed that there was not supposed to be a standing 8 count for Campillo so it really should have ended the fight in round 1.

That said he lost the fight and i think he is gonna come into the Bhop fight ready to go 12 hard.

Bhop will not be able to get away from Tavoris and Tavoris is the superior in fighter.

 

Cloud is mainly a stalker. Look at the Mack fight he looked foolish until he caught him. Both him and Pascal fight in spurts and have poor stamina. Pascal isn't that much more active than Cloud but yeah cardio aint there strong point. Pascal also has more versatility. If you keep Cloud away which I cant see Hopkins doing you can stop his offense. Pascal can move and somewhat box.

 

Cloud beat the dog **** and then KO'd Mack. What are you talking about?

 

Cloud is far better than some here act, it would appear the Campillo fight is the only one they've seen. Cloud is a beast, and with Hopkins atrocious work rate, he could stop Hopkins.

Hopkins excels against slow plodders. Cloud is a plodder, but he's very active. Hopkins struggles with activity. Very intriguing fight. If Cloud is what I think he is(entertaining, but limited puncher) he should win ugly. If he loses, he's much more limited than I thought.

 

Towards the end yes. He was still struggling but in no way did Cloud beat Mack with ease. Think your Cloud-love is too strong to see this.

I didnt say he was, reread my post. Just said Cloud is a stalker. I dont think Cloud will lose. Limited or not you have to keep him off of you and avoid "that punch" from landing. With Hopkins being old enough to be his ancestor how the hell will he do that?

 

If Cloud wins it's because he's what you thought he was....a limited puncher (because that's all that's needed to beat Hopkins) but if he loses he's worse then you thought :nut nothing to do with the fact that Hopkins even at this age is still better then most of these 'champions.'

I think what really irks guys like you is that Hopkins at 48 is going to be fighting for a world title while your boy Roy Jones is getting KO'd by bums and being forced to rap for cash in Russia

 

If Hopkins can't limit your workrate low enough, he's going to lose. If Cloud shows up and lets his hands go, he's going to win.

Roy is shot, and is an embarrassment. He's still 3-4 leagues of talent above Borenard Quitkins who will always find a way to cheat or quit his way out. Quit against Robert Allen. Quit against Dawson. Faked low blows against Calzaghe. Clinches and holds and hits. headbutts. He's an embarrassment to the sport, and the sooner he's gone, the better.

You're right Jones is an embarrassment and it's funny how you think hitting and holding is some sort of terrible thing yet steroid abuse and hitting an opponent who's on the ground (and getting DQ'd for it) is perfectly ok atsch but like I was saying it's the fact Hopkins is fighting for a world title at 48 while the likes of Jones are forced to rap for cash in Russia it makes you mad it makes you think "why is this old ****er not finished yet? why hasn't nobody knocked him out" etc. etc. that's why Hopkins haters are so bitter (yourself being a perfect example) he's breaking records winning titles while you're sitting behind your keyboard impatiently waiting for him to finally get KTFO.

 

Great fight. I'll be rooting for Cloud but certainly won't underestimate old man Hopkins. He should retire win-or-lose though. He's lucky to still have his health and shouldn't want to jeopardize that.

 

I predict Bhop dropping to the canvas trying to get a DQ for getting roughed up on the inside AT LEAST 2 times.

 

Seen him fail to ko a shot Woods and get beat up kin the process

Seen him go to war with Johnson and eek out a decision

Seen him getting of outboxed by Yusef Mack before Mack predictably gassed

Seen him get completely schooled by ****ing Campillo :rofl
