Hopkins vs Dawson II on the Mayweather undercard on May 5?

    This is not a bad idea idea since Hopkins vs Dawson can really sell by itself. What do you guys think?

    This Hopkins and Dawson 2 fight is mandatory by the WBC and can't really sell on. Even though I would not mind seeing it again myself.

    With even one more decent bout (a 10-rounder even, doesn't have to be anything earth-shatteringly important...something about par with Rodriguez-Wolak II) - that PPV would be incredibly hard to top in the rest of the year.

    MAY 5TH IS THE BIGGEST NIGHT IN BOXING USUALLY-PUT IT ON THE UNDERCARD AS THE "CO-MAIN EVENT".

    B-Hop and Chad already robbed of us our money-now give us a good fight!

    Hopkins/Dawson II CAN't sell on it's own and fans really deserve better than that crap. I'd say tie Hopkins to a chair and have Dawson do combos on him like he was doing to the dummy on the sports science show.

    Can't see any other way that any ****er turns up to see this. Would be a good under card fight. As IB says, put another decent fight on the card beneath this and you have a top night of boxing.

    I have trouble believing that Hopkins would agree to fight on an undercard at this point in his career, no matter what the headlining fight was.

    well if the fight gets offered i bet they would both agree to do it . nowone really likes seeing these fight and they would get a 2nd chance to put on a show. they prolly dont care wut the public thinks but i still wanna see whos the best in this division thats wut it is all about n we need this fight to see whos the best .

    Even if it was proposed to Hopkins - he wouldn't take it. He's not getting back in the ring with Dawson. He didn't want to do it in the first place and was forced. Even with the WBC ordering a rematch - it's not goingto happen.

    Hopkins is already using the excuse that Chad disrespected him after the first fight by saying that he was faking and he wouldn't give Hopkins a rematch (when he thought he won the fight). Hopkins says - since he said he didn't want to give me a rematch - there's no need to look for one now. He's moving on to other things.

    If it was to be put on the undercard - that would be GREAT - but I wouldn't hold my breathe on this one.
