Hopkins-Pascal II was a very good fight, and was way better than all the fights in the Mosley-Pacquiao PPV for the exception of Arce-Vazquez.

 

Maybe gutless but he sure knows how to calculate. Why should he fight for less money by going to the states while he draws good crowd (with canadian money $$$) in Montréal or Québec?

I would put Lemieux in the undercard. A Pascal vs Cloud is a main event on its own with a main event on HBO, not a undercard.

But what I think though is that GBP and Shaw want to try to organize the event without GYM, so without Quebec fighters from the Québec promotional group. If they do so, they will fail big time because no local media is gonna talk about the fight. And the fight will just have no free exposure in town like they do when it a local promoter.

 

HBO won't let that happen. They want people in the stand. It makes for more compelling TV.

 

I was being sarcastic. I'm not a ****ing ****** like the legions of Bute haters. Even Americans want to come to Quebec because of how great a province it is for boxing and the fans and money they can generate, of course Bute should fight there.
