NO NO NO "PK doe'snt look at anything that does" NOT fit HIs AgEnDa. See, see.... you, you... Hopkins is not a special fighter. This content is protected is a "SPECIAL FIGHTER"
Did dftaylor really say Hopkins beat Taylor? And ruined his career? This guy is so clueless. Dawson is a horrible matchup for a slow, lazy, timid fighter who will wait and wait all night long to get inside while getting popped from the outside with every shot in the book. Hopkins is not hard to hit and still struggles with speed.
Yeah, I'm clueless. Well done. Nail on head. Especially valid from a guy who says Hopkins is not hard to hit.
You can't be serious. Hopkins is no defensive master. Hes the product of selective matching and if Pascal can hurt him Dawson definitely will. Hopkins does not throw with fighters he waits for them to stop then hopes there still in range for his right hand. He is gonna stay on the ropes all fight backing up and constantly out of range.
Have you ever watched Hopkins? If you wrote that and believe any of it then you really owe it to yourself to watch a few more of his fights.
Jermaine Taylor faced Ronald Winky Wright when he was possible in his best form, he was not fat and out of shape like the Winky Wright Hopkins faced. It was a fantastic fight, no fighter lost that night. Jermaine Taylor when he became champion, made one promise to his fans... "That he was give his all and always turn up to fight, and he would fight the best" He fought the best fighters, and he fought awarkard fighters. And win or loose he did just that, when Jermaine Taylor lost. He went down in flames everytime, Jermaine Taylor never ever went quietly. Nobody can disrespect Jermaine Taylor here, he has given us some great wars. I'm not making this a disscussion between Jermaine Taylor and Bernard Hopkins, when they both fought Jermaine Taylor beat him twice "HANDS DOWN". This thread is about Chad Dawson vs Bernard Hopkins. And Bernard Hopkins does not be athletic fighters with above average ring IQ. He cannot cope, and he has never coped in the history of his career with these type of fighters. Its took 3 years for this fight to happen, Bernard Hopkins never wanted this fight, but he has convinced himself that he does. "Deep down, he knows he's up against it" He just cannot cope.....
Close to the fight, i will probably change my mind and pick Bernard Hopkins. A part of me wants him to carry on.
