I don't know if Dawson can make the adjustments to beat Hopkins.

    This one is easy.

The one thing Hopkins struggles with are guys who can get off first with their hand speed and combination punching (RJJ, Calzaghe, Taylor). This disrupts Hopkins desire to set the pace and forces him to get defensive. Dawson is just a bigger, faster, more talented version of Taylor. I love Hopkins but this is the wrong style for Hopkins. Hopkins eats up guys that are somewhat predictable in their attack with average hand speed (Tarver, Winky, Pavlik, Tito, etc).

Its a real tough one. Dawson has quick hands and is good on his feet. I think he is like a larger, stronger Taylor. I voted taylor mainly due to his combinations and much better footwork than Pavlik. I think he would have his feet in the right position to through enough combinations to take a very close victory.
But who the hell am i to question the great Bhop. He could land enough hard counters to discourage Dawson and then follow up with good combinations.
Its a tough fight to call. I think it would be a much better fight to watch than Hopkins JoeC. Not that that is hard.

The younger lion hits harder than Joe C. and is way more versatile than Pavlik

Good points, however, I do think Dawson's chin is considerably more suspect than Taylor's.

I won't vote cause I honestly can't pick a winner in this one.
It would be a fight I'd LUV to see though.

  12. Dawson is no Pavlik, he's faster, bigger, and throws precise combinations, and a helluva lot younger than Hops, Dawson wins a comfortable UD..

This is a hard one,I still go for Hopkins,Dawson's chin and lack of focus would make it hard for him.Anyway the fight won't happen

B-Hop had a chance to formulate a plan against Taylor in their second fight but it didn't work. It was a mirror image of the first to some extent.
