Can Hopkins K.O. Foster? no Can Foster K.O. Hopkins? yes He can run, but he can't hide theory would prevail. IMO.
Well, i don´t think Foster would be able to KO Hopkins. He proved he had a very good chin and a very good defence. He nearly never got hit flush. The only fighters Hopkins really had problems with are guys who are very fast also both times he faced such fighters he wasn´t at his best it was visible that even at his best they would pose some problems for him and, in the case of Jones, might even beat him. Foster isn´t but instead he´s bigger and has more power than Hopkins. I think we all agree that Hopkins was the superior ring general and that the fight would go his way. The question is, what fight would he want. Rough Foster up and bully him on the inside to take away his advantages - reach, jab? Can´t see that happening, imo Foster is stronger than Hopkins and would beat him at this game. So, Hopkins would use his superior footwork to stay away of Foster and tries to outbox him. But Foster has some advantages there, the better jab and the longer reach. Would be quite a difficult task. I could see Hopkins winning on points but i could also see him beeing to weary of Foster´s power, especially after getting hit in the beginning, so that he won´t risk enough to win. Close fight.
Foster was too strong for B-Hop even tho Hop started at 175 IMO. Once Foster corners him, he would unleash jabs & straight rights until Hop covered up them after several well placed uppercuts to the head & face, Hop goes down in a heap, gets up & is floored again by a left hook, the ref doesnt count, its all over.
